Rebecca Adams, a California native, graduated “With Merit” from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in History. During her time in the Navy, Rebecca served as the Weapons Officer on USS Rushmore (LSD-47), where she led a division of 18 sailors and deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of the Global War On Terror. During her second sea tour, Rebecca served as the Operations Officer for Mine Countermeasures Division Three One (MCMDIV 31), where she coordinated multinational training exercises with allied navies (including Canada, Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and Panama) and trained multinational forces for both wartime and humanitarian assistance operations.
Following her active duty naval service, Rebecca earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she received the Pro Bono Distinction for her extensive public service during law school. At SLS, Rebecca served as an editor on the Stanford Journal of Law, Business and Finance and as the Communications Director of the Stanford Law Veterans Organization. Rebecca has also clerked in the California Attorney General’s Office in San Diego, the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York City, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, and the US Attorney’s Office of Northern California. Prior to joining LPCH, Rebecca practiced high stakes commercial litigation at a Top 100 AmLaw firm in Washington, D.C. and a litigation boutique in Houston. Rebecca, along with her husband, Josh, and nine month old son, Luke, enjoy avidly cheering on their alma maters’ teams and spending time with their extended family in Dallas.
