Prior to joining Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, Todd practiced commercial litigation in the Houston office of Baker Botts.

Todd graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 2002, earning membership in the Order of the Coif, the Order of Barristers, Order of the Barons and serving as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Houston Law Review. While in law, Todd twice earned national honors in the annual ABA moot court championship, won the University of Houston's Blakely Butler Moot Court Competition, and received the John O'Quinn Foundation award for his law review case note.
